    Ingredients

    Easy date caramel

  • 12 pitted dates
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup Harraways Rolled Oats

  • Creamy banana oats

  • 2 cups milk (or half water, half milk). Can use either dairy or plant-based milk
  • 1 banana
  • Pinch of Cinnamon
  • Toppings

  • Dark chocolate, chopped
  • Thick vanilla yogurt
  • Hidden

    Ingredients

    Easy date caramel

  • 12 pitted dates
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt

  • 2 cups milk (or half water, half milk). Can use either dairy or plant-based milk

Method

    Easy date caramel

      1. Add dates into a small bowl and add water until dates are just covered. Microwave for 1 minute.

      1. Carefully take the hot bowl out of the microwave and use a fork to mash into a date paste.

      1. Add in almond butter, salt, maple syrup and vanilla. Mix until a caramel comes together. Set aside and make the oats.

        Creamy banana oats

          1. Mash the banana in a small saucepan. Add in oats, cinnamon and milk. Add sweetener if needed.

          1. Heat on medium / low until thick and creamy.

            Assemble

              1. Add into a bowl. Top with caramel, yogurt, grilled or fresh banana and chopped chocolate pieces.
