  • 1 heaped tsp salt

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 - 1 ½ lb flour

  • 1 lb sugar

  • 2 tbsp Golden Syrup

  • 1 lb currants (optional)

Nutritional Information

    Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ lb Rolled Oats

  • 1 lb Butter

  • 1 heaped tsp salt

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 - 1 ½ lb flour

  • 1 lb sugar

  • 2 tbsp Golden Syrup

  • 1 lb currants (optional)

Method

  1. Melt butter, water and golden syrup together.

  1. Then add dry ingredients and mix well.

  1. Roll out floured board to about ¼ - 3/8 thick and cut into biscuit sized pieces.

  1. Bake at 150 degrees Celsius for 30-40 mins.
