1 tsp butter
- 3 cups water
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant based)
Ingredients
Method
Night Before
- Heat butter in a high sided saucepan over medium heat.
- Add oats and fry for about 3 minutes or until a ‘toasty’ aroma.
- Pour in water, stir and bring to a rolling boil.
- Turn off heat, cover pan and let this stand overnight.
Next Morning

Bring oats back to a simmer, add milk if desired - thins out mixture

When the oats are warm, scoop into bowls and enjoy
