    Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Harraways Extra Creamy Scotch Oats

  • OR 1 ½ cups Harraways Raspberry Coconut Oats LESS SUGAR

  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa powder 
  • 3 Tbsp ground linseeds / flaxseeds 

  • 1 ½ cups (tightly packed) pitted dates 

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut 

  • 1 ½ cups seed and natural nut mixture (e.g. pumpkin, sunflower, Brazil nuts, cashews, almonds, walnuts etc) 

  • ½ cup milk powder or protein powder 

  • Extra nuts to sprinkle on top once set

    Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups Harraways Extra Creamy Scotch Oats

  • OR 1 ½ cups Harraways Raspberry Coconut Oats LESS SUGAR

  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa powder 
  • 3 Tbsp ground linseeds / flaxseeds 

  • 1 ½ cups (tightly packed) pitted dates 

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut 

  • 1 ½ cups seed and natural nut mixture (e.g. pumpkin, sunflower, Brazil nuts, cashews, almonds, walnuts etc) 

  • ½ cup milk powder or protein powder 

  • Extra nuts to sprinkle on top once set

Method

  1. Line a 31cm round or square tin with baking paper.
  1. Place dates in a small bowl, cover with just enough boiling water and soak for 10 to 15 minutes until soft.

  1. Pulse dry ingredients in blender to chop nuts and seeds (careful not to over blend, you still want the mixture chunky). Transfer to a large bowl.

  1. Blend dates and water until smooth. Add to dry ingredients and mix.

  1. Press firmly into prepared tin, and place in the freezer to set for 30 minutes.

  1. Once set, remove from the tin, and cut into squares.

  1. To serve sprinkle extra nuts on top.
